Terms of use

Last updated 17 September 2026

These terms are the agreement between you and Voolo. Using the app means accepting them. We have tried to write them so that reading them is not a punishment.

Who can use Voolo

You must be 18 or over. One account per person, and the details on it must be yours: the whole point is that the person on the map is the person you meet. We can close an account that is not.

Your account

Keep control of the phone number or sign-in you use, because whoever has it has your account. Tell us at hello@voolo.in if you think somebody else is using it. You can delete your account at any time, from Settings, without asking anybody.

What you post

Your profile, your trips, your messages and your photos stay yours. You give Voolo permission to store them and show them to the people you intended them for, which is what makes the app work. That permission ends when you delete the content or the account, other than copies kept briefly in backups or where a report is being investigated.

Do not post what is not yours to post, and do not post what thecommunity guidelines rule out. Those guidelines are part of these terms.

Meeting people is your decision

Voolo introduces travellers. It does not vet them, and a verification badge records that a check happened, not that a person is safe. Use your judgement, meet in public first, tell somebody where you are going, and leave when something feels wrong. What happens away from the app is between the people involved, and Voolo is not responsible for it.

Money

Voolo works out who owes what. It never holds, moves or processes money, and it is not a payment service, a bank or an escrow. When you settle up, you do it through your own bank or payment app, directly with the other person, and any dispute about the money is between you two. If paid features arrive later, they will be bought through the App Store, and Apple's refund rules will apply to them.

What we can do

We can change or withdraw features, and we can suspend or close an account that breaks these terms or the guidelines, or that puts other people at risk. Where it is reasonable to warn you first, we will. Where somebody is at risk, we will act first.

What we cannot promise

Voolo is provided as it is. We do not promise that it will always be available, that the information other travellers put into it is true, or that you will find company. To the extent the law allows, we are not liable for indirect or consequential loss, and our total liability is limited to what you have paid us in the previous twelve months. Nothing here removes rights you have as a consumer that cannot be removed.

Changes to these terms

If these terms change in a way that affects you, we will tell you in the app before the change takes effect. Continuing to use Voolo after that means accepting the new version.

Law

These terms are governed by the laws of India, and the courts of India will have jurisdiction, without taking away any protection the law of the country you live in gives you.
