Voolo works when a stranger on the map turns out to be somebody worth spending a day with. These are the rules that keep that true. They are short on purpose, because rules nobody finishes reading are not rules.

Be the person on your profile

Your name, your photo, your plans. Pretending to be somebody else is the one thing that makes every other rule impossible to enforce, so it is the fastest way off Voolo.

This is not a dating app

People come here to find company on the road. Treating the map as a dating pool, or turning a trip thread into an approach, gets reported and it gets acted on. If two people find something else, that is theirs — but it is not what Voolo is for, and nobody should have to fend it off to plan a trip.

Say what you will actually do

Join trips you mean to join, and say so early when your plans change. A plan that six people are holding is worth a message, and dropping out silently costs somebody else money.

Settle what you owe

The ledger is only as good as the people using it. Pay people back promptly. Voolo does not move money and cannot chase it for you, but it does record who logged what, and repeated complaints are grounds for removal.

Leave people alone when they ask

No harassment, no pile-ons, no repeated messages to somebody who has not replied. No racism, no casteism, no abuse about where somebody is from, what they believe, who they love, what they look like or what they can do. Block is there and using it is not rude.

Do not sell things here

Voolo is not a marketplace. No tour packages, no affiliate links, no recruiting, no crypto, no bulk messaging. Recommending a place you loved is not selling; sending the same message to forty people is.

Adults only

Everybody on Voolo is 18 or over. If you believe an account belongs to somebody younger, report it and we will deal with it the same day.

Reporting

Every profile, trip and message has a report option, and blocking somebody removes them from your map immediately — they are not told. We look at every report. Depending on what we find, we do nothing, warn, limit what an account can do, or remove it.

If somebody is in danger right now, contact your local emergency services first. The app's safety screen dials the right number for the country you are standing in. Then tell us atsafety@voolo.in, which a person reads.
